Still alive!

Working on post. 

In the meantime, my life has been filled with baseball, long hours, pee-filled corners of my house (and no, it's not the dog), timeouts, and lots of cries to Calgon.

Motherhood. It's not for the weak.

I think this is my new favorite photo. Just to remind you why I love my camera, this is straight-out-of-camera; no editing, no cropping.

Renews my hope that one day I'll figure this out.

Boredom.

I have been so absent on this poor blog. I have so many photos I want to post (and ramblings to go along with them) but it always slips my mind. I am going to do better! Right now I am hassling with trying to change the background and I'm getting a headache. Boo. My darn monitor (or at least I'm hoping it's just that) won't show the whole background, so it makes everything look bad. So I'm trying to find one that looks good when you can only see a portion of it.

Because this is WAY more important than eating lunch or cleaning my house.

Just a tease

On Tuesday, we left for a totally spur-of-the-moment, as-spontaneous-as-you-can-get trip to the mountains. We were gone for 3 blissful days and nights, completely shut out from any civilization. Not even cable, people. No cell phone reception, no internet. Just us and the snow. And boy was it wonderful.

Because I'm just a little obsessed with capturing every moment on camera, I have sooo far to get on my photos. But here's just a snippet of our time.
